Eid al-Fitr is an extremely important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Eid is the first and only day in the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not permitted to fast.
Eid-al Fitr has particular Salat that consists of two Rakats and is usually offered in an open field or a large hall.
Muslims believe that they are commanded by Allah, in the Qur'an to continue their fasting till the end of Ramadan and pay the fitra and Zakat before offering the Eid prayers.
